If you are interested in supporting the International Herpetological Symposium (IHS), we offer several options.

SPONSORSHIPS

By becoming an annual IHS sponsor you can expect to receive these benefits:

  • Your name and/or company log will be on all IHS advertisements, as well as in the published symposium program.

  • You will have a spot on our website for your logo and any other contact information you provide us with.

  • And at select levels, we would also like to offer your company or organization a free table in the IHS vendor room during the annual meetings!

Based on the type of sponsorships available, donations can be directed to any one of the funds listed in the WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO? section below.

DONATE IN HONOR OF A LOVED ONE

(Memorial and Honorarium Donations): IHS is proud to help celebrate the lives of herpetologists and herpetoculturists in our community. There are many special occasions where an IHS donation would make for the perfect gift:

• Memorials and bequests

• Birthdays

• Holidays

• Celebrations

• Milestones and achievements

• Anytime, in honor of someone special

Based on the individual, donations can be dedicated to any one of the funds listed in the WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO? section below.

Acknowledgement cards are forwarded to the individual or the loved ones family if information is provided at time of donation.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

Items and monies donated to the IHS General Fund supports the operating expenses and future of the symposia, while donations to IHS Grant Fund allows us to continue our small grants program supporting herpetological research, conservation, and education. Finally, monies donated to our Junior Herper/Next Gen Fund supports our symposia’s mission by encouraging participation of young persons (between the ages of 12-22) interested in reptiles and amphibians by offering awards and travel assistance.

The International Herpetological Symposium, Inc. is a registered non-profit under Code Section 501(c)(3) and as such your donation may be tax deductible.
